We are seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Interventional Radiology team at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH. This position is based on the main hospital campus and requires a commitment of 3–4 shifts per month. The Interventional Radiology service operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities. This hire will work collaboratively with a team of Interventional Radiologists while practicing with a high degree of autonomy in the evaluation and management of patients undergoing image-guided procedures.
Responsibilities include performing biopsies, paracenteses, thoracenteses, lumbar punctures, and port insertions, as well as providing peri-procedural care and participating in inpatient rounding. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, procedure-oriented provider who is comfortable practicing independently in a fast-paced hospital environment.
The Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed provider. The PA is responsible for the assessment and management of various populations of patients, medical and/or surgical, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, development of appropriate plans of care and ongoing evaluation.

Experience as a licensed Physician Assistant preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Interventional Radiology, Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Hospital Medicine, or another procedural specialty strongly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency performing bedside and image-guided procedures is required.
