HOSPITALIST PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT OPENING

Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a Physician Assistant position for a full-time hospitalist role in the Alliance area of Fort Worth, TX. Expand your career by working closely with a successful team of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of patients.

POSITION DETAILS:

1. Assist hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&Ps, and follow-up visits.
2. Initiate appropriate treatment and testing for medical illnesses.
3. Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions.
4. Round on rehabilitation patients, including long-term acute care patients.
5. Document using the EMR system.
6. Participate in continuous quality improvement processes.

IF YOU:

1. Enjoy working nights, 7 PM to 7 AM, 7 on, 7 off.
2. Possess active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgment, and decision-making skills.
3. Are a Texas-licensed and certified Physician Assistant.
4. Hold ACLS certification.
5. Have at least 2 years of PA experience in ICU/CVICU.
