Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant to join a General Surgery team in Washington (Longview) for a 6-month assignment. You will round with trauma surgeons, assist in the OR, and provide post-operative trauma care in the clinic, supporting inpatient and outpatient services.

Candidates should have a WA license, 2 years of recent clinical activity, BLS and ACLS, and prefer Surgical First Assist experience or clientist background.

Description:The role requires a licensed Physician Assistant to provide care in a General Surgery setting. Primary responsibilities include rounding and assisting with trauma surgeons. Secondary responsibilities will involve post-operative trauma care in the clinic. The expected daily patient workload is 10-15 adult patients. Required documentation of clinical services provided over the last 24 months is necessary. The candidate will not work solo; collaboration with one or more surgeons will be standard. Experience in hospital settings and with wound care procedures is beneficial. The position does not require experience in robotic surgery or vein harvesting. This position offers an opportunity to work within a supportive team in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The schedule includes variable 9-hour shifts and the possibility of 4x10-hour shifts for the right candidate. No call requirement for this role.
