AFC Urgent Care San Diego is seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our team in San Diego, California. The role focuses on episodic urgent care with on-site lab and X-ray capabilities, walking-in patients seven days a week.

Candidates must hold an unrestricted California license, DEA certificate, and NCCPA board certification, with at least one year of ER/urgent care experience. Typical shifts cover days, evenings and weekends, with 12 shifts per month and a competitive hourly rate plus

• Able to treat patients of all ages and perform minor procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services as part of a full-time team in San Diego.
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, abscess drainage) as needed.
• Collaborate with clinicians and staff to deliver patient-centered care.
• Work day, evening, and weekend shifts as scheduled.

We are seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our Team in San Diego, California.

• Scheduling Options include 12 shifts monthly: 8am – 8pm.
• Typically 2 – 3 workdays per week, with 9 – 12-hour shifts and pre-approved overtime
• Competitive Pay. Hourly Rate: $67-$73. Hourly Blended rate with overtime from 9 and 12 hour shifts incorporated with base rates: $74-$83.
• Additional bi-weekly bonuses based on patient volume thresholds.

What does AFC Urgent Care require?

• An unrestricted medical license in California
• DEA Certificate
• Must be NCCPA Board Certified
• At least one year’s experience in an ER, Urgent Care or Primary Care setting
• Able to treat patients of all ages and be comfortable with minor procedures (e.g., suturing lacerations, draining abscesses, etc.)
