Job summary

Concentra is seeking a Physician Assistant Float to provide primary medical direction within our occupational health program across multiple clinics. You will perform assessments, order tests, and manage care plans while delivering compassionate patient service in a fast-paced setting.

You will ensure accurate documentation, follow medical protocols, and contribute to education initiatives, with opportunities for growth and development within the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related health field from an accredited college or university.
• Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE).
• Current licensed physician assistant in the state of employment and compliant with state laws.
• Typically at least one year in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical assessment of Center patients across multiple clinics.
• Examines patients, compiles data and examination results.
• Orders or administers diagnostic tests (x-ray, ECG, labs).
• Interprets diagnostic results and manages care plans.
• Delivers injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care.
• Counsels patients on treatment regimens and health maintenance.
• Develops patient management plans and documents progress.
• Supports policy development for medical practice and care quality.
• Participates in education programs and staff training.
• Provides excellent service and maintains HIPAA-compliant documentation.
