Job summary

LMH Health in Lawrence, KS seeks a Physician Assistant to practice medicine under physician supervision, providing a broad range of medical services. You will conduct histories, physicals, order tests, and participate in patient care to support health and prevention.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, reviewing records, ordering tests, and coordinating referrals, with emphasis on patient education, safety and teamwork within a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PA program.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Two years clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and dictate complete history and physical examinations.
• Dictate progress notes and patient summaries.
• Review patient records to determine health status.
• Order appropriate laboratory, radiology, EKG, EEG, consultative, or referral services.
• Initiate consultations per Medical Staff Rules and Regulations.
• Transmit prescriptions according to DEA restrictions and supervision protocols.
