Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Greater Sacramento, CA seeks a full-time Physician Assistant to deliver comprehensive primary care in a community health setting. You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to serve diverse, underserved populations.

Compensation ranges from $131,000 to $170,000 annually based on experience. Schedule is Mon–Fri 8–5 or a 4x10 option, with multiple clinics across the area.

Qualifications

• Active CA PA license and NCCPA board certification required or preferred.
• Current DEA and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred, especially in community health.
• Commitment to serving low-income and underserved populations.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations in primary care.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with Medical Director.
• Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate.
• Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling services.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
