Job summary

Zufall Health seeks a licensed Physician Assistant to deliver direct clinical care in a community health setting in Morristown, NJ. You will work under the Chief Medical Officer to provide evidence-based medical care to Zufall Health Center patients and their families.

You will perform assessments, treatment, counseling, and care coordination with emphasis on quality outcomes, safety, and HIPAA compliance. Weekend/night shifts may be required; bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited college or university.
• Current NJ PA license.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant (NCCPA).
• Current DEA and CDS registration.
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum of one-year experience in a community health setting (preferred).
• Bicultural and bilingual experience valued.
• Proficient with computers; Microsoft Office and EMR familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments with history taking and physical exams, documenting findings.
• Provides diagnostic and therapeutic care within PA scope and in collaboration with supervising physician.
• Administers injections and immunizations; manages wounds and infections.
• Documents care in EMR and coordinates with physicians.
• Counsels patients on regimens, growth, development, and wellness.
• Develops patient management plans and ensures continuity of care.
• Maintains safety, infection control, and HIPAA compliance.
• Participates in rotating night/weekend call and community outreach.
