Job summary

Atlantic Health System's Atlantic Medical Group in Morristown, NJ, seeks a Physician Assistant to provide high-quality care under physician supervision. You will evaluate patients, order tests, perform procedures, and support ongoing patient management across a multispecialty network.

The role requires a Bachelor and Master’s in PA studies, a valid NJ PA license, and AAPA certification. ACLS is preferred; competitive benefits are highlighted in the team summary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree required.
• Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant studies or related field required.
• Valid NJ Physician Assistant license.
• AAPA Certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, perform comprehensive physical exams, and collect medical history.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (x-ray, ECG, labs).
• Perform treatments (injections, immunizations, suturing, wound care).
• Develop and implement patient management plans and document progress.
• Counsel patients on adherence to treatment, growth, development, and health maintenance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor of Science Degree

AAPA Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
