Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant training program.
• Current Minnesota PA license.
• Current NCCPA certification.
• Active member in professional PA association preferred.
• Approved or eligible for approval by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice for prescription-writing privileges.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing patient care under supervising physician.
• Document pertinent data in medical records.
• Perform routine physical examinations and history taking.
• Develop medical status reports and tentative diagnoses under supervision.
• Initiate therapy and prescribed medications as permitted.
