Job summary

Main Line Health, Inc. in Wynnewood, PA is seeking a Physician Assistant for the Cardiothoracic ICU. This full-time role requires 50/50 days and nights with weekend/holiday coverage.

You will diagnose and treat in collaboration with physicians, support family communication, and participate in credentialing through MLH. Minimum 2 years of Nursing in critical care and 2 years PA experience in Acute Care preferred; PA program completion and PA license required; BLS, ACLS, and PALS may be required.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Physician Assistant program
• Licensed by PA state board as a PA
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification may be required
• PALS may be required
• 2 years PA experience in Acute Care preferred
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in critical care/cardiology/surgical backgrounds preferred
• MLH credentialing process with privileges required

Position:

Physician Assistant, Cardiothoracic ICU

Shift: Full time — 40 hours a week — 50/50 DAYS and NIGHTS , and NIGHTS ONLY –weekend, and holiday requirement

Experience:

2 years Physician Assistant experience in Acute Care preferred.

A minimum of 2 years nursing experience in critical care, cardiology, surgical backgrounds preferred.

Education:

Completion of a Physician Assistant program required

Licensure:

Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board as a Physician Assistant (PA) Required

BLS certification required

May require ACLS certification

May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support)

Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved

This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
