Main Line Health, Inc. in Wynnewood, PA seeks a Physician Assistant, Cardiothoracic ICU to join our critical care team. This full-time position offers a 40-hour work week with a 50/50 day and night schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.

Qualified candidates will have PA program completion, PA licensure, BLS; ACLS and PALS are preferred. You will collaborate with physicians and residents to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care and participate in credentialing processes.

Qualificações

• Completion of a Physician Assistant program is required.
• 2+ years of PA experience in Acute Care preferred.
• 2+ years nursing experience in critical care/cardiology/surgical backgrounds preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide medical diagnosis or prescribe therapies in collaboration with attending physicians and residents.
• Lead quality and evidence-based care initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with team to ensure comprehensive patient care in the Cardiothoracic ICU.

Experience:

2 years Physician Assistant experience in Acute Care preferred.

A minimum of 2 years nursing experience in critical care, cardiology, surgical backgrounds preferred.

Education:

Completion of a Physician Assistant program required

Licensure:

Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board as a Physician Assistant (PA) Required

BLS certification required

May require ACLS certification

May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support)

Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved

This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
