Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistant to assist, monitor, and manage the day-to-day needs of patients under physician supervision. The role requires 1-2 years of Cardiac Surgery experience and PA licensure.

Candidates must complete an AMA-accredited PA program and possess strong communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite. BLS and ACLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved physician's assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms

Job description

The Per Diem Cardiac Surgery Physician Assistant assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards. Cardiac surgery Physician Assistant with a minimum of 1-2 years experience required. Cardiac Surgery experience prefered. Weekends, nights, and holidays as needed.
