Job summary

Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) seeks a Physician Assistant to provide specialized adult cardiovascular and thoracic care in collaboration with supervising physicians. The role focuses on diagnosis, treatment, and perioperative support, including performing assessments, ordering tests, and delivering patient education in a fast-paced surgical environment.

The PA will work under supervision, using prescriptive authority, document care, and participate in staff and student

Qualifications

• Board-certified Physician Assistant with Prescriptive Authority and at least 1 year of cardiothoracic surgical assisting experience.
• Proficient in endoscopic and open conduit harvest techniques.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Sensitive and confidential communication skills.
• Strong teamwork abilities with physicians and healthcare providers.

• Document healthcare delivery in line with specialty standards and participate in staff and student education.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills
