Premise Health Inc. in Orlando, FL is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant to provide care for client employees and dependents at our Health Center. Clinic hours are Mon-Fri 7a-7p, start in late April 2027.

The role covers exams, procedures, care plans, patient education, diagnostics, and team collaboration. The candidate should have NCCPA certification, ARC-PA degree, and relevant PA experience in ambulatory or ED settings; DEA license and state licenses as applicable.

Qualifications

• Current NCCPA national certification required.
• Degree from ARC-PA accredited program.
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable).
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.
• At least three years of clinical PA experience in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or ED.
• Pediatric experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements.
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
