Orlando Health Physician Associates is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for full-time work in Orlando, FL. The role supports adult medicine patients in a radiotherapy context, including perioperative orders and life‑saving procedures, with daily rounds and detailed documentation.

Qualifications include NP or PA credentials, Florida licensure, BLS, and adult medicine experience.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner: MN/MSN/DNP/PhD or DNS in nursing.
• Physician Assistant: graduate of accredited PA program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing care for patients receiving radiation treatments; write appropriate orders, including perioperative orders, narcotics, stimulants, depressants.
• Perform emergency life-saving procedures in cases of cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, massive hemorrhage, or similar catastrophe.
• Daily rounds with or without attending physicians and/or students; document H&P and discharge summaries; ensure supervisory review within 24 hours.
• Dispense/prescribe medications as authorized by supervising medical staff; issue orders; document progress notes.
• Scrub with supervising surgeon in operating room; assist physician with diagnostic procedures; follow supervision policies.
• Maintain punctual attendance and compliance with Orlando Health policies and procedures.
