Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to deliver care to client employees and dependents at our Orlando, FL Health Center.

You will perform exams, procedures, care planning, and collaborate with physicians; clinic hours are 7a-7p, Monday to Friday; start in late April 2027. The role requires NCCPA certification, ARC-PA accredited degree, and DEA license; pediatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• NCCPA certification is required.
• ARC-PA accredited PA program completion is required.
• Federal DEA license required; state-specific DEA permitted.
• State narcotic/controlled substance license if required by state.
• Minimum three years of clinical PA experience in ambulatory/occupational health, family practice, or ED.
• Pediatric experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develop patient care plans and document progress for continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribe or recommend treatments and therapies.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Physician Assistant, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Orlando, FL.

The clinic hours are Monday-Friday 7a-7p.

This position is scheduled to start in late April 2027.

What You’ll Do

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable)
• Current NCCPA national certification required
• Degree from ARC-PA accredited program
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration)
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting.
• Pediatric experience required.
