Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care in Stamford, CT is seeking a full-time Advanced Practitioner to join our brand-new facility. This role offers a salary range of $150,000 to $190,000 per year plus a $25,000 sign-on bonus, with potential annual retention bonuses and productivity incentives.

You will perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and provide hands-on procedures such as suturing and wound management.

Qualifications

• Active State Medical License and CDS registration.
• AP/CNP/PA certification with urgent care focus.
• PALS/ACLS valid; ACLS strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and deliver medical care.
• Perform suturing, wound management and other procedures.
• Collaborate with specialists to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• State Medical License
• Controlled Substance Registration
• Certification as an Advanced Practitioner
• PALS and ACLS Certification
• A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting is preferred.
• Candidates must possess a strong background in performing routine procedures, such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and treatment of orthopedic-related conditions.
• Relevant professional experience required; this position is best suited for candidates with prior experience in the field.
