Premise Health Inc. is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant in Tucson, AZ to provide care to employees and dependents at our Health Center. The role offers 32-40 hours per week with opportunity in primary or urgent care settings.

Qualifications

• Active PA licensure and state practice licenses.
• NCCPA certification currently active.
• ARC-PA accredited PA program degree.
• Federal DEA license as applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS may be required.
• Minimum three years of clinical PA experience in ambulatory, occupational health, family practice or ED.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care and infection management.
• Develop patient care plans and document progress for continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribe or recommend treatments including medications and therapies.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Physician Assistant, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Tucson, AZ. The scheduled hours are full-time with the option of working 32-40 hours per week. Primary or urgent care background and at least 1 year of experience strongly preferred. DEA required.

What You’ll Do

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements.
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

• Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice.
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable).
• Current NCCPA national certification required.
• Degree from ARC-PA accredited program.
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable).
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting.
