Job summary

Premise Health seeks a Full-Time Physician Assistant for its Health Center in Helena, MT. Schedule is 8:00am-6:00pm, Tuesday–Friday, with a strong emphasis on work/life balance.

You will conduct exams, perform injections and wound care, create care plans, order tests, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians to ensure comprehensive care. Competitive benefits accompany a stable clinic role.

Qualifications

• Maintains state licenses/certifications to practice.
• Maintains Board of Pharmacy Prescribing License (if applicable)
• Current NCCPA national certification required
• Degree from ARC-PA accredited program
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• Current certification with hands-on training in BLS/ACLS is required; ACLS may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements
• Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care
• Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, growth and development
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Do
