Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians in Milton, MA is seeking a highly energized Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department team. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED under the supervision of a licensed physician, supporting physicians and managing patient flow.

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant; MA licensure required.
• Massachusetts licensure and MA Board authorization to practice.

• BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred but not required.
• Emergency Department/Urgent Care experience.
• Competency in care for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

The Department of Emergency Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Milton, a part of the Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) system, is seeking a high energy, experienced Physician Assistant to join our staff of dynamic, highly regarded ED practitioners employed by Longwood Specialty Physicians at its site in Milton, MA.

Provide direct patient care including physical diagnosis and therapeutic management for patients in the Emergency Department working under the supervision of a licensed physician.

• 40,000 annual ED visits
• Patient management / physician support in main ED
• Manage Fast Track and BHU patients

Job Requirements

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant
• Massachusetts state licensure
• MA Board authorization to practice licensure
• American Heart Association - Basic Life Support Certificate and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred but not required
• Valid prescriptive authority from both the MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA
• Experience in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care Center
• Competency in provision of care to patients of all ages

BIDH Milton is an 81-bed community hospital located 9 miles south of Boston. The ED offers life-saving stoke care, cardiac and other illness/injury care and advanced medical technology.

Pay Range:

$90,000 - $150,000

The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations.
