Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Milton, part of the Beth Israel Lahey Health system, seeks a high energy, experienced Physician Assistant to join our ED team at the Milton site.

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department under the supervision of a licensed physician, supporting with patient management in the main ED. Fast Track and BHU are available, with BIDH Milton offering 81 beds and proximity to Boston, approx 9 miles south.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant.
• Massachusetts state licensure.
• MA Board authorization to practice licensure.
• American Heart Association - Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
• Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred but not required.
• Valid prescriptive authority from MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA.
• Experience in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care Center.
• Competency in care for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

The Department of Emergency Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Milton, a part of the Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) system, is seeking a high energy, experienced Physician Assistant to join our staff of dynamic, highly regarded ED practitioners employed by Longwood Specialty Physicians at its site in Milton, MA.

Provide direct patient care including physical diagnosis and therapeutic management for patients in the Emergency Department working under the supervision of a licensed physician.

• 40,000 annual ED visits
• Patient management / physician support in main ED
• Manage Fast Track and BHU patients

Job Requirements

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant
• Massachusetts state licensure
• MA Board authorization to practice licensure
• American Heart Association - Basic Life Support Certificate and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

BIDH Milton is an 81-bed community hospital located 9 miles south of Boston. The ED offers lifesaving stoke care, cardiac and other illness/injury care and advanced medical technology.
