Job summary

Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Milton, MA, is seeking a high-energy Physician Assistant to join our ED team. You will provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department under the supervision of a licensed physician and support patient management in the main ED and Fast Track.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant, MA licensure, BLS, ACLS (PALS preferred), and prescriptive authority with MA DPH-DCP and DEA.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant.
• Massachusetts state licensure is required.
• MA Board authorization to practice licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS preferred.
• Prescriptive authority in MA and DEA registration required.
• Experience in an Emergency Department or Urgent Care Center.
• Competent in care for patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department under physician supervision.
• Support patient management in the main ED and in Fast Track.
• Assist with BHU patients and facilitate rapid transport to BIDMC when needed.

Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations.
