Job summary

Epic Pain Management seeks a Physician Assistant in San Antonio, TX to join a physician-led team. You’ll provide patient care with dedicated clinical support, maintaining a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and collaborating with physicians and staff to develop individualized treatment plans.

You’ll perform evaluations, manage pain care, and conduct in-office procedures while ensuring accurate EMR documentation and high-quality outcomes for patients with acute and chronic pain

Qualifications

• Texas PA license required.
• Current DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Pain management/urgent care experience preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with physician collaboration.
• Excellent communication and patient engagement.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations for acute conditions, injuries, and chronic pain.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Perform in-office procedures (e.g., joint/trigger point injections, abscess care, suturing).
• Interpret diagnostic tests and adjust care plans.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, options, and follow-ups.
• Maintain timely EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure high-quality care.

Epic Pain Management is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our San Antonio team. What You'll Do

As an Advanced Practice Provider at Epic, you’ll have the opportunity to independently manage patient care while collaborating closely with our physicians and clinical team.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations for acute conditions, injuries, and chronic pain
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Perform in-office procedures, including joint and trigger point injections, abscess incision and drainage, suturing, and splinting
• Interpret diagnostic tests and adjust care plans accordingly
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure high-quality, efficient care
• Stay current with best practices in urgent care and pain management

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Licensed Physician Assistant in Texas
• Current DEA license or ability to obtain
• Pain management, orthopedics, urgent care, or primary care experience preferred, but not required
• Strong clinical judgment and patient‑management skills
• Confidence working independently with physician collaboration
• Excellent communication and patient‑engagement skills
• A collaborative, motivated approach to patient care
