A leading healthcare provider in Los Angeles is seeking a Trauma/Acute Care Surgery and Orthopedic Physician Assistant. Position Summary:
The Trauma/Acute Care Surgery and Orthopedic Physicians Assistant is responsible for providing and coordinating care for Trauma, Acute Care Surgery, and Orthopedic patients at CHMC, ensuring they receive optimal care throughout their hospitalization. The primary goal is to deliver quality trauma care both directly as an expert clinician and indirectly as a consultant, change agent, educator, and quality improvement agent. The PA collaborates with Medical Staff, Nursing Staff, ancillary personnel, patients, and families to foster an interdisciplinary team approach. The PA reports directly to the Trauma Program Director, with a reporting link to the Trauma Medical Director. They also contribute to developing standardized procedures and protocols to meet departmental goals and objectives.
