Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Kinston, NC is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant to support multiple clinics. The PA will handle urgent and primary care, minor procedures, dermatology, GYN, and telemedicine, working with diverse teams in a fast-paced setting.

Applicants must be a PA with active certification and a Master's degree or higher, plus strong communication skills. EMR and MS Office experience preferred. Compensation includes hourly pay with bonus incentives.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine services
• Perform minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting as needed
• Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management
• Review X-rays with Radiologist over-read and interpret EKGs
• Deliver dermatology, eye, and GYN care as required
• Treat patients of all ages in a fast-paced setting
• Apply emergency management skills when necessary

Responsibilities:

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
• EKG interpretation
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
• Treating patients of all ages
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting

Schedule:

• Shifts determined approximately two months in advance

MainStreet Clinic Hours:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only):

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:0 a.m. - 9:0 p.m.

Hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, float coverage, etc.
