Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant to support multiple Charlotte clinics. You will handle urgent care, primary care, and telemedicine duties, including minor procedures and ED-level readiness.

Requires PA certification and a Master’s degree, with strong communication skills and EMR proficiency. Competitive hourly pay with incentives, plus benefits, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant certification required prior to start date.
• Master’s degree or higher required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine duties.
• Perform minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Suturing and splinting.
• General orthopedic evaluations and management.
• X-ray review with Radiologist over-read.
• EKG interpretation.
• Treat patients of all ages.
• Emergency management in a fast-paced setting.

At MainStreet Family Care, we’re growing fast and looking for fast, fun, and friendly PRN Physician Assistants (PAs) to work across multiple clinics in your region. Our providers help patients feel better FAST! Boom!

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a high-volume environment, and is flexible working with different teams and clinics. New grads are encouraged to apply — haven’t taken boards yet? That’s okay too!

Responsibilities:

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
• EKG interpretation
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
• Treating patients of all ages
• Emergency management skills in a fast‑paced setting

Schedule:

• Shifts determined approximately two months in advance

MainStreet Clinic Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only):

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, float coverage, etc.
