Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current NCCPA certification (PA-C) required.
• Active Florida PA license or eligibility to obtain before start date.
• Experience in endocrinology, internal medicine, or primary care preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered bedside manner.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage endocrine-related patients including diabetes and thyroid disease.
• Take comprehensive histories, perform exams, and order/interpret tests.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with supervising physician.
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle changes.
• Prescribe and monitor medications, adjusting as needed.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Coordinate care with referring providers and other healthcare teams.

• Conduct comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and order/interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications
• Prescribe and monitor medications, adjusting treatment protocols as needed
• Maintain accurate and thorough electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
• Coordinate care with referring providers, specialists, and ancillary healthcare teams
