Job summary
Dr. Mae Sheikh Ali Endocrine Center in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our endocrinology practice. You will work with expert physicians to diagnose and manage hormonal and metabolic disorders, delivering patient-centered care.
Responsibilities include evaluating patients, ordering tests, and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising clinician. A master's in PA studies, PA-C certification, and Florida licensure or eligibility are required.
Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current NCCPA certification (PA-C) required.
- Active Florida state PA license or ability to obtain prior to start date.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid disease, and adrenal conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive histories and physical examinations, and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with supervising physician.
