Job summary

PhyicianOne Urgent Care Stamford, CT is seeking a Staff Physician (Family or Emergency Medicine) to provide high-quality urgent care at our brand-new Stamford facility with a $15,000 sign-on bonus and competitive benefits.

The role involves patient care excellence, thorough assessments, and hands-on procedures, including suturing and wound management, with collaboration across specialties to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• State Medical License
• Controlled Substance Registration
• Certification in Family or Emergency Medicine
• PALS and ACLS Certification
• Strong background in performing routine procedures (laceration repair, incision & drainage, foreign body removal, orthopedic-related treatments)
• Relevant professional experience in urgent care or emergency medicine preferred

Responsibilities

• Patient Care Excellence: conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, and provide top-notch medical care.
• Hands-On Procedures: perform essential clinical procedures like suturing, wound management, and emergency care.
