Job summary

Doylestown, PA-based Penn Medicine Doylestown Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a growing Cardiothoracic Surgery program. The role involves pre-operative evaluations, first-assisting in surgery, post-operative care, and educating patients within a highly skilled surgical team.

Qualified candidates should graduate from an accredited PA program, be NCCPA certified (or eligible) and eligible for PA licensure in Pennsylvania, with BLS and ACLS certification.

Qualifications

• Institutional PA program graduation and PA certification required.
• Must be NCCPA certified (or eligible) and eligible for Pennsylvania licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Cardiothoracic Surgery experience preferred; strong interest welcome from new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Engage in full continuum of cardiothoracic patient care, from pre-op to post-op.
• Perform pre-operative evaluations and assist in surgery as needed.
• Contribute to post-operative management and patient education.

Join Penn Medicine Doylestown Health and play a vital role in a growing Cardiothoracic Surgery program. We're seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and working alongside a highly skilled surgical team.

In this role, you'll be involved in the full continuum of cardiothoracic patient care, including pre-operative evaluations, first-assisting in surgery, post-operative management, and patient education. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with complex cardiac and thoracic surgery patients while making a meaningful impact on outcomes and patient experiences.

What We're Looking For:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• NCCPA certified (or eligible) and eligible for Pennsylvania licensure
• BLS and ACLS certified
• Cardiothoracic Surgery experience preferred (new graduates with strong interest encouraged to apply)
