Job summary

Penn Medicine Doylestown Health (PMDH Heart Center) seeks a Physician Assistant to support cardiothoracic surgery. Under surgeon supervision, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic tasks, assist in the OR, and coordinate postoperative care.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a physical science, graduation from an accredited PA program, and ACLS/BLS training, with two years CT surgery experience preferred. Must be NCCPA certified/eligible and on-site in Doylestown, PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a physical science required.
• Graduate of an accredited physician assistant program.
• Must complete Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support training.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon in preoperative care and work‑up.
• Assist in intraoperative procedures and monitoring.
• Participate in postoperative care and discharge planning.
• Perform therapeutic procedures as directed by the surgeon.
