About The Role

Banner Wellness is seeking an experienced and personablePhysician Assistantwith a strong interest in women's health, hormone management, preventive medicine, metabolic health, and longevity-focused care. The Women's Health PA will work closely with the Women's Health Physician and Medical Director to provide personalized care across multiple stages of life. The ideal candidate combines strong clinical judgment with a warm bedside manner and an interest in hormone optimization, sexual wellness, metabolic health, and longevity medicine. This role is ideal for a PA who values long-term patient relationships and individualized care in a low-volume, elevated wellness environment. The PA will also contribute to a seamless patient experience acrosswomen's health, wellness, performance, nutrition, recovery, and aesthetics.

What You'll Do
WOMEN'S HEALTH & PATIENT CARE
  • Provide comprehensive women's health care under the clinical direction of the Women's Health Physician and in accordance with applicable Texas law, delegation agreements, protocols, and standing orders.
  • Obtain comprehensive medical, gynecologic, reproductive, family, lifestyle, and medication histories and perform appropriate physical examinations and clinical assessments.
  • Provide routine gynecologic and preventive care within the PA's training, experience, and delegated scope.
  • Evaluate and manage common women's health concerns, including menstrual irregularities, perimenopause and menopause, premenstrual symptoms, PCOS, vaginal and vulvar concerns, sexual health, genitourinary symptoms of menopause, contraception, metabolic health, fatigue, and sleep concerns.
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as clinically appropriate and within delegated authority.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the Women's Health Physician.
  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, lifestyle interventions, and follow-up recommendations.
  • Recognize and appropriately escalation of conditions requiring physician evaluation, specialist referral, additional testing, imaging, or a higher level of care.
HORMONE & LONGEVITY CARE
  • Participate in Banner Wellness women's hormone, preventive health, and longevity programs.
  • Conduct detailed hormone-focused histories and symptom assessments and evaluate laboratory results in the context of each patient’s overall health, medical history, and goals.
  • Assist with the management and monitoring of hormone therapies in accordance with physician-approved protocols.
  • Monitor treatment response, laboratory results, medication tolerance, and safety considerations.
  • Educate patients regarding the potential benefits, limitations, alternatives, and risks of hormone therapy.
  • Support comprehensive longevity evaluations addressing cardiometabolic health, bone health, body composition, muscle preservation, sleep, nutrition, sexual health, cognitive health, hormonal health, preventive screening, and lifestyle factors.
  • Translate laboratory and diagnostic findings into clear, actionable recommendations and coordinate complex care with the Women's Health Physician.
METABOLIC & WEIGHT MANAGEMENT
  • Evaluate and provide follow-up care for patients participating in physician-directed metabolic and weight-management programs.
  • Review metabolic markers, body composition, nutrition, physical activity, lifestyle factors, and relevant medical history.
  • Monitor patients utilizing authorized weight-management therapies, including treatment response, side effects, nutritional adequacy, and body composition.
  • Educate patients on sustainable weight management, muscle preservation, resistance training, adequate protein intake, sleep, and healthy lifestyle practices.
SEXUAL & PELVIC WELLNESS
  • Provide a comfortable, confidential environment for discussions regarding sexual and pelvic health.
  • Evaluate and address common concerns including vaginal dryness, discomfort, decreased libido, dyspareunia, and genitourinary symptoms associated with hormonal changes.
  • Educate patients regarding appropriate medical, hormonal, pelvic-floor, lifestyle, and wellness treatment options.
  • Collaborate with the Women's Health Physician and other Banner Wellness providers when additional treatment or referral is appropriate.
MEMBER EXPERIENCE & INTEGRATED WELLNESS
  • Deliver an elevated, personalized, and welcoming experience consistent with Banner House standards.
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with members and patients while providing individualized, unhurried care.
  • Clearly and promptly communicate laboratory results, treatment recommendations, and follow-up plans.
  • Maintain continuity of care through appropriate follow-up and coordination.
  • Collaborate with Banner Wellness providers across preventive wellness, nutrition, strength and performance, recovery, aesthetics, body composition, pelvic wellness, and other available services.
  • Identify appropriate opportunities for patients to benefit from complementary Banner Wellness services while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
  • Maintain discretion, professional boundaries, and strict confidentiality within a private membership environment.
EDUCATION & PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
  • Serve as an ambassador for the Banner Wellness women's health program.
  • Educate members regarding women's health, hormone, metabolic, preventive, and longevity services.
  • Participate in educational events, seminars, member programming, and wellness initiatives as requested.
  • Assist in developing educational materials and patient resources.
  • Support the continued growth and development of women's health programming through exceptional patient experience, education, and continuity of care.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance programming based on member needs, clinical evidence, and emerging developments in women's health.
OPERATIONS & CLINICAL QUALITY
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and complete medical documentation.
  • Follow Banner Wellness clinical protocols, standing delegation orders, prescribing requirements, and applicable policies.
  • Ensure appropriate follow-up of laboratory results, imaging, referrals, prescriptions, and patient communications.
  • Participate in the development and periodic review of clinical workflows and protocols.
  • Support quality assurance and patient safety initiatives.
  • Participate in clinical training, continuing education, and team meetings.
  • Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based developments in women's health, menopause care, hormone therapy, metabolic medicine, and preventive and longevity-focused care.
COMPLIANCE & PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
  • Practice within the scope permitted by Texas law, Texas Medical Board requirements, applicable Physician Assistant regulations, and physician delegation.
  • Maintain all required licensure, certifications, prescribing authority, and continuing education.
  • Comply with HIPAA and all applicable patient privacy requirements.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality appropriate to a private membership environment.
  • Promptly communicate significant clinical findings, adverse events, changes in patient status, and matters outside the PA's delegated scope to the supervising physician.
  • Ensure all prescribing, ordering, and procedures remain within the PA's authorized and delegated scope of practice.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current and unrestricted Texas Physician Assistant license.
  • Current NCCPA certification.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Eligible for prescriptive authority and other required registrations in Texas.
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient-education skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to provide highly personalized care in a concierge environment.
  • Comfortable collaborating closely with a physician-led clinical team.
