Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking Per Diem Physician Assistants for our East End Long Island Centers, including Yaphank, Elwood, Bay Shore and Port Jefferson. Providers may rotate to 12-hour centers in Deer Park, Commack, Sayville and West Islip, with shifts up to 16 hours.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of urgent care or emergency medicine experience and are comfortable with sutures, casts, splints, EKGs, and X-ray interpretation. This is a per diem position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-time experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting treating all ages (6 months and older).
• Comfortable with minor procedures (suturing, casting, splints) reading EKGs and X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care with adult and pediatric patients in per diem capacity.
• Support with minor procedures and imaging interpretation.

Pay: $90/hr.

We are seeking progressive and entrepreneurial Per Diem Physician Assistants with adult and pediatric experience to join our welcoming and diverse community of Northwell providers.

We are looking for Per Diem Physician Assistants for our East End Long Island Centers.

The Provider will mostly be placed in our 16-hour centers which include:

Yaphank, Elwood, Bay Shore, and Port Jefferson.

In addition, the Provider may be placed in our 12-hour centers which include: Deer Park, Commack, Sayville, & West Islip.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
