Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care seeks progressive Per Diem Physicians (M.D./D.O.) with adult and pediatric experience to join our Northwell-affiliated network. Positions available across East End Long Island centers—Yaphank, Elwood, Bay Shore, Port Jefferson—primarily in 16-hour locations, with potential placement in 12-hour centers.

Qualifications

• Physician must be board certified in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• 1–2 years of urgent care or ER experience treating all ages.
• Comfortable with minor procedures and reading EKGs and X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform minor procedures and interpret EKGs/X-rays.

Position: Physician (M.D./D.O) - (Per Diem)

Pay: $120/hour - $145/hour (experience-based range)

We are seeking progressive and entrepreneurial Per Diem Physicians with adult and pediatric experience to join our welcoming and diverse community of Northwell providers.

We are looking for Per Diem Physicians for our East End Long Island Centers.

The Provider will mostly be placed in our 16-hour centers which include:

• Yaphank
• Elwood
• Bay Shore
• Port Jefferson

In addition, the Provider may be placed in our 12-hour centers which include:

• Deer Park
• Commack
• Sayville
• West Islip

Minimum Required Qualifications

• Physicians: BC in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• 1-2 yrs. of experience in either an urgent care or emergency room setting treating all ages (6 months and older)
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.
