Position: Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner

Location: Central and Southern CA (Remote)

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: $85/hour plus OT with a sign-on bonus and annual retention bonus

Position Overview:

Accelerated Urgent Care has been voted Best Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA for eight years. We are hiring Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners for a 100% tele-health position within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide urgent care medicine, practicing in twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break.
• Work full-time, consisting of 12 shifts per month, including 2 on-call shifts, from 8 am to 9 pm.
• Treat 4 to 5 patients per hour, from newborns to geriatrics, in a low-acuity setting.
• Perform common procedures such as I&Ds, toenail removal, and laceration repair.
• Utilize in-house Point-of-Care testing and X-ray equipment, with results overread by a Board-Certified Radiologist within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• Use the VelociDoc EMR with Dragon dictation to efficiently document patient encounters.

Qualifications:

• Complete a formal MSN FNP program or MS in Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies.
• Hold an active and in good standing CA Medical License.
• Be DEA Certified.
