Job summary

CompHealth is recruiting for a Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia position in Augusta, GA, joining a 3-member team at a growing congenital heart program.

The hybrid practice includes pediatric cardiac and general pediatric anesthesia cases with on-call rotation roughly every third week and 2 post-call days. Academic appointment includes teaching, research, and quality improvement; visa support is available. CompHealth coordinators assist with licenses and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatric anesthesia.
• Experience in pediatric cardiac anesthesia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric cardiac and general pediatric anesthesia with a hybrid practice.
• Engage in teaching, research, and quality improvement activities.
• Participate in program expansion and patient care coordination.

• Join a 3-member Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia team at a growing congenital heart program
• Hybrid practice: pediatric cardiac and general pediatric anesthesia cases
• Cardiac call in one-week rotations approximately every 3rd week; generates 2 post-call days
• Non-call weeks are daytime-only with no overnight requirements
• Academic faculty appointment with teaching, research, and quality improvement responsibilities
• Program expansion underway with case volumes expected to double
• 56 total annual days off including annual leave, sick days, CME days, and holidays
