We are seeking a BC/BE pediatric anesthesiologist with subspecialty training or previous experience in pediatric cardiac anesthesia to join a growing team of pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists at the Children's Hospital of Georgia. Current and new grads are welcome to apply. Must be comfortable working with trainees, including both anesthesia residents and fellows, as well as CRNA's and AA's.
Interest in patient-centered care, teamwork, research, and quality improvement projects is desired.
The Children's Hospital of Georgia has a growing pediatric cardiac program as well as a dedicated pediatric cardiac cath team that cares for an extensive network of patients from the Southeast. A full range of congenital heart cases are performed with the exception of heart transplants. We offer a 45 bed level IV NICU and 20 bed PICU with dedicated CVICU staffing. A new pediatric tower specifically for CVICU patients is projected to be completed in 2027 to accommodate our growing needs. Pediatric cardiac anesthesia is an exponentially growing program with 3 active pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists. Call is from home with minimal callbacks. Cases are performed with a pediatric fellow, dedicated cardiac anesthetist, or senior anesthesia resident. Join a true work family with the benefit of a healthy work-life balance.
