The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. offers a unique opportunity for an Acute Care Surgeon to join the WVU Health System Medical Group at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. Surgeons will play an essential role in the General Surgery practice, providing essential inpatient consults and ED call coverage.

This position provides a guaranteed base salary along with comprehensive health benefits, as well as a competitive rotation schedule of 7 days on and 14 days off. Living in Bridgeport offers a mix of small-town charm and access to modern amenities, making it an excellent place to work and live.

WVU Health System Medical Group (SMG) seeks an acute care surgeon to join a well-established and expanding hospital practice. The surgeon will function as an extension of the UHC General Surgery practice and is responsible for inpatient consults and ED call coverage. Inpatient APP’s assist with rounding and first assist in OR.
