WVUHS Medical Group seeks a PRN General Surgery Physician. The successful candidate will be expected to practice in the primary location of Petersburg, West Virginia.

Duties

The successful candidate will practice in the area of general surgery to provide weekend call coverage from Friday at 4PM through Monday at 8AM.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must have an MD or DO degree or foreign educational equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Applicants must have completed a General Surgery Residency program. Applicants must be board certified or eligible in General Surgery. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.

The hospital serves a multi-county area with a wide range of healthcare services, including a 24/7, 13-bed Emergency Department; Surgical Clinic; Orthopedic Clinic; Podiatry Clinic; Cancer Center; Primary Care Clinic; Wound Care services; and the only Birthing Center in a five-county region.
