Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics and a two-year fellowship in Allergy and Immunology.
• Board certification or eligibility in Allergy and Immunology.
• Valid medical license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat allergic and immunologic conditions (asthma, hay fever, food allergies, eczema, sinusitis, immunodeficiency).
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests (skin prick, blood tests, patch tests, PFTs).
• Develop individualized treatment plans (medications, immunotherapy, immunoglobulin therapy).
• Educate patients and families on disease management and allergen avoidance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and test results.
• Manage emergencies such as anaphylaxis.
• Engage in ongoing professional development in allergy and immunology.
• Optional participation in research and education activities.
