Job summary

AllerVie Health in Florida is seeking a Physician in Allergy & Immunology to provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and management services for patients with allergic and immunologic disorders.

This role leads clinical decision‑making, oversees patient care plans, and collaborates with nurses, APPs, and other team members to ensure high‑quality, evidence‑based care while maintaining licensure and compliance.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification or eligibility in Allergy & Immunology.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice.
• Fellowship training in Allergy & Immunology.
• DEA registration or completion of DEA Waiver.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Prior experience in outpatient allergy and immunology care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute, chronic, and complex allergic and immunologic conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including pharmacologic therapies, immunotherapy, and other interventions.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as skin testing, pulmonary function tests, and laboratory evaluations.
• Provide patient education and counseling regarding disease management, prevention, and treatment adherence.
• Collaborate closely with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, nursing staff, and administrative teams to coordinate care.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and continuing medical education activities.
• Maintain licensure, certifications, and compliance with all applicable laws and professional standards.
• Provide leadership in clinical protocol development and implementation.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to other healthcare providers as needed.
• Engage in community outreach and patient engagement activities as appropriate.

Summary of Position
