Job summary

ReNew Wound Care in Hartford, CT is seeking a board-certified physician with a passion for patient-centered wound care. You will lead wound care services, perform comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans across post-acute facilities.

Travel to multiple skilled nursing and post-acute facilities on a regular schedule, collaborating with nursing and rehab teams to deliver evidence-based care and reduce readmissions.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed physician in good standing and board certified.
• 1+ years’ experience in advanced wound care preferred.
• Certification in wound care (CWSP/CWS/WOCN/WCC/CWOCN) is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to facilities.

Responsibilities

• Wound Care Leadership and oversight at post-acute facilities.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of acute and chronic wounds.
• Develop and implement advanced, individualized treatment plans.
• Apply techniques such as debridement, skin grafting, and infection control.
• Coordinate with on-site nursing and rehab teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Communicate goals, progress, and changes across teams.
• Travel to multiple facilities on a regular schedule.
