Job summary

AIDS Healthcare Foundation seeks a Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Infectious Diseases physician for an HIV primary care outpatient facility in Atlanta. The position offers a 100% outpatient schedule, no nights or weekends, and a supportive team including a Practice Manager, MAs and RNs.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD/DO medical license (state-specific).
• Valid DEA & Furnishing license.
• Comfortable evaluating 15-20 patients per day.
• Experience treating HIV/AIDS in outpatient primary care setting.
• Must obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 100% outpatient HIV primary care with no nights or weekends.
• Participate in a shared call schedule and coordinated care with a full support team.

AIDS Healthcare Foundation is public health, mission-based organization with a network of services that include healthcare centers, pharmacies and wellness clinics. We are now looking for a Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Infectious Diseases provider at an AHF HIV primary care outpatient facility. You’ll join a full staff committed to serving the city’s underserved patient population, including the LGBTQ community and individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Medical Board license MD/DO (State specific) in Internal/Family Medicine/Infectious Disease
• Valid DEA & Furnishing license
• Comfortable with seeing up to 15-20 patients per day
• Prior experience in treating and diagnosing HIV/AIDS clients in an outpatient Primary Care setting
• Must obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire
• Current CPR/BLS (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) is required
