Job summary

AIDS Healthcare Foundation seeks a Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Infectious Diseases physician to join our HIV primary care outpatient facility in Washington, DC. You will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to underserved communities, including LGBTQ patients and those living with HIV/AIDS, in a fully outpatient setting with a supportive team.

This role offers a competitive base salary with retention bonuses up to $100,000, quarterly bonuses up to $3,500, sign-on incentives,

Qualifications

• Medical Board license MD/DO (State-specific) in Internal/Family Medicine/Infectious Disease.
• Valid DEA & Furnishing license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Comfortable seeing up to 15-18 patients per day.
• Experience treating HIV/AIDS in outpatient primary care.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient HIV primary care to underserved communities.
• Collaborate with a full support team (PM, MA, RNs).
• Share call schedule with clinical staff.
• Participate in organization-wide HIV health initiatives.

AIDS Healthcare Foundation is public health, mission-based organization with a network of services that include healthcare centers, pharmacies and wellness clinics. We are now looking for a Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Infectious Diseases provider at an AHF HIV primary care outpatient facility. You'll join a full staff committed to serving the city’s underserved patient population, including the LGBTQ community and individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Medical Board license MD/DO (State specific) in Internal/Family Medicine/Infectious Disease
• Valid DEA & Furnishing license
• Comfortable with seeing up to 15-18 patients per day
• Prior experience in treating and diagnosing HIV/AIDS clients in an outpatient Primary Care setting
• Must obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire
• Current CPR/BLS (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) is required
