Job summary

AIDS Healthcare Foundation is seeking a Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Infectious Diseases physician for our HIV primary care outpatient facility. You’ll join a full staff committed to serving the city’s underserved patient population, including the LGBTQ community and individuals living with HIV/AIDS.

This opportunity offers a base salary plus bonuses, relocation assistance up to $10,000, comprehensive benefits, PSLF, CME stipend, and a 100% outpatient schedule with no nights or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have MD/DO license (state-specific) in Internal/Family Medicine or Infectious Disease.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Familiarity with outpatient HIV/AIDS care and management is expected.
• Must obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide Family Practice, Internal Medicine or Infectious Diseases care in an outpatient HIV primary care setting.
• See patients with a focus on HIV/AIDS in an outpatient clinic and manage up to 15–18 patients per day.
• Participate in a shared call schedule and collaborate with a full support team of MAs and RNs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Medical Board license MD/DO (State specific) in Internal/Family Medicine/Infectious Disease
• Valid DEA & Furnishing license
• Comfortable with seeing up to 15-18 patients per day
• Prior experience in treating and diagnosing HIV/AIDS clients in an outpatient Primary Care setting
• Must obtain AAHIVM Certification within 18 months of hire
• Current CPR/BLS (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) is required
