Job summary

SteadyMD is seeking Physician Assistants for virtual patient care across telehealth programs. This fully remote role features flexible hours and a compensation around $60/hour, tailored to state regulations as a 1099 contractor.

You will evaluate and treat patients via video, phone, and asynchronous messaging, covering urgent care, weight loss, and primary care pathways with an inclusive, evidence-based approach.

Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant license in at least 5 states, must include CA
• Board Certified by NCCPA
• 2 years of in-person PA practice; 1 year weight loss medicine preferred
• Telemedicine or virtual care experience preferred
• Comfort with asynchronous and synchronous care delivery

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care across SteadyMD programs including urgent care, weight management, lab review, remote monitoring, and primary care
• Conduct evaluations via video, phone (scheduled and on-demand), and asynchronous patient communication for adults and pediatrics
• Serve a diverse patient population with evidence-based clinical practices
• Maintain compassionate, patient-centered care delivery

Position Overview:

• Role: Physician Assistant for Virtual Patient Care
• Visit types: A combination of asynchronous and synchronous [majority async]
• Location: Fully Remote
• Compensation: Approximately $60/hour
• • Important Note: This is a 1099 contractor opportunity, provided that, this classification and rate of pay are subject to change based on the clinicians state of residence, applicable state employment and worker classification regulations, and the clinicians availability and involvement with SteadyMD, to ensure compliance with state-specific labor and wage requirements.

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver patient care across SteadyMD's programs, including but not limited to: urgent care, weight management, lab review, remote patient monitoring and primary care.
• Conduct evaluations via video, phone (both scheduled and on-demand), and asynchronous communication with patients of all ages (adults and pediatrics).
• Serve a diverse patient population while exemplifying inclusivity and evidence-based clinical practices.
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care delivery.

• Active Physician Assistant (PA) license in at least 5 states, must be licensed in the state of California (CA)
• Must be licensed in the state you live in
• Board Certified, specifically NCCPA
• 2 years of in-person, independent practice experience as a PA
  • 1-year experience in weight loss medicine, including prescribing GLP1 agonists preferred.
• Background in Internal or Family Medicine preferred
• Comfortable with complex chronic condition management preference
• Telemedicine or virtual care experience is preferred
