Job summary

SteadyMD Inc. is hiring a licensed physician for virtual patient care. This fully remote position offers approximately $120/hour on a 1099 contract basis, with compensation subject to state residency and wage regulations.

You will deliver care across urgent care, primary care, weight management, and remote monitoring programs via video, phone, and asynchronous channels, serving a diverse patient population with evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Active MD/DO with board certification preferred.
• 5+ active state licenses, include one of GA, TN, IN, MO, SC, MS, AL.
• 10 active licenses with CA, FL, NY, TX, VA is also acceptable.
• Telemedicine or virtual care experience required.
• Proficiency with telemedicine platforms required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care via video, phone, and asynchronous messages.
• Provide care across urgent, primary, weight management, and remote monitoring programs.
• Serve diverse patient populations with evidence-based, compassionate care.

Position Overview:

• Role: Physician for Virtual Patient Care
• Location: Fully Remote
• Compensation: Approximately $120/hour
  • Important Note:This is a 1099 contractor opportunity, provided that, this classification and rate of pay are subject to change based on the clinicians state of residence, applicable state employment and worker classification regulations, and the clinicians availability and involvement with SteadyMD, to ensure compliance with state-specific labor and wage requirements.

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver patient care across SteadyMD’s programs, including but not limited to: urgent care, weight management, lab review, remote patient monitoring and primary care.
• Conduct evaluations via video, phone (both scheduled and on-demand), and asynchronous communication with patients of all ages (adults and pediatrics).
• Serve a diverse patient population while exemplifying inclusivity and evidence-based clinical practices.
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care delivery.
• Participate in supervision requirements as applicable for credentialing and licensure.
• Active Physician (MD/DO) with:
  • Minimum of 5 active state licenses and at least one license in the following states: GA, TN, IN, MO, SC, MS, AL
  • OR Minimum of 10 active state licenses and at least one license in the following states: CA, FL, NY, TX, VA
• Board Certified, Family or Internal Medicine Preferred
• 3 years of independent practice experience as an NP preferred
• Telemedicine or virtual care experience is preferred
• Proficiency with technology platforms for telemedicine delivery
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong professionalism and ability to work autonomously
• Must be able to learn quickly, adapt to quick pace, express empathy
• Fully Remote work with flexible hours
