Martha's Vineyard Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Internal Medicine physician to provide comprehensive patient care across the full scope of adult medicine.

The role emphasizes diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and coordination of care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have an MD, completed Internal Medicine residency, and board certification or eligible, with an active state license.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide the full scope of Internal Medicine services within the trainee's field, including diagnosis, treatment, care coordination, prevention and health maintenance.
• Educate patients about disease prevention and early detection.
• Collaborate with medical and non-medical staff to ensure coordinated care and referrals.
• Supervise Clinic APPs performing clinical services as determined.
• Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives with the Medical Director.
