Physical Therapy Technician - PRN - Days

Under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapy Technician will assist in supervised patient treatments and help maintain the PT department in a clean and organized manner.

Minimum Education

High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered. Graduation from a technical program is preferred.

Minimum Work Experience

Previous experience in a Physical Therapy clinic is preferred.

Required Licenses/Certifications

Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited program is required.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Knowledge of regulations, quality assurance, procedures, and patient care. Ability to treat patients of all ages from pediatric to geriatric. Successful completion of department-specific and hospital-required training courses.
